Winners of the 2024 EIT Health Catapult competition.
A jury of industry leaders, academics, and health innovation investors selected the winners of the 8th edition of Catapult at the health.tech conference in Munich, on June 5th, 2024.
Congratulations to:
🏆 Life Science winner: CELEX Oncology (UK), which is treating invasive and metastatic cancer via transformation
🏆 HealthTech winner: Acorai (Sweden), which is developing the first handheld, non-invasive ICP monitor
🏆 Audience-voted Alex Casta Award winner: Dymium (Germany), which is pioneering magnetism-based residue-free extraction of kidney stones
In addition, EIT Health Catapult’s Industry partners AstraZeneca, AWS, eg technology and Lusíadas Saúde have committed to providing additional support to finalists and winners and the winner of the audience-voted Alex Casta Award will see its company logo illuminated on the Nasdaq Tower in New York’s Time Square.
TEMS was introduced to professionals at the forefront of data space innovation and strategy at the world’s largest event on data spaces, the Data Spaces Symposium , held from March 12 to 14 2024, in Frankfurt.
The 2024 edition gathered more than 1000 participants and was an opportunity to show the impact that data sharing can have on the competitiveness of European media and exchange with visionary business leaders, renowned experts, and innovators in the data spaces landscape.
The 3rd project meeting of the Interreg project on Corporate Digital Responsibility in Europe was hosted by the Cork County Council, in Ireland on April, 3rd and 4th.
The meeting focused on understanding challenges to the uptake of CDR in SMEs, based on surveys results from each Region, and in seeking possible policy tools solutions to address SMEs challenges.
CDR Europe project will offer to 20 SMEs based in Tuscany (Italy), Catalonia (Spain), Ile-de-France (France), Bucarest-Ilfov (Romania), the opportunity to receive free consultancy services to assess and implement new digital responsible practices. The French open call for Ile-de-France SMEs is now online.
The new EIT Health Catapult open call is open until 29 August 2024.
Catapult is a unique competition for fast-tracking European start-ups in life sciences and health tech. Throughout the programme, start-ups receive intensive training as they build their credibility and visibility through pan-European exposure. Finalists pitch at our final event as they go head-to-head for cash and industry prizes, and the opportunity to be displayed on the New York Nasdaq Tower.
